Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. How do I login to an application protected by Azure B2C?
Access to Azure B2C requires an account in Azure B2C at our company and permissions in the application. Your account representative can help establish your account and provide you with your username.

  2. I am a new user to Azure B2C and need a password. How can I access the platform?
Once you receive your username, navigate to the protected application to access the login page. On the login page, click the "Forgot your password?" link and follow the on-screen instructions. You will need access to your business e-mail address to verify your identity.

  3. What should I do if my e-mail address is not correct or I am not receiving the verification code?
First, check your spam/junk filters to ensure you don't have anything from msonlineservicesteam@microsoftonline.com. You may also whitelist this e-mail address to help with deliverability. If problems persist, Contact your support representative and provide the login username you are using and confirm your correct e-mail address. Support teams may update incorrect e-mails along with resetting your password.

  4. What should I do if I have multiple accounts?
To optimize your experience, Azure B2C shares your login with all of the applications so that you don't need to login again if already authenticated. If you have multiple accounts, you should completely log out of one account before accessing another. Please refer to the following guide for instructions.

  5. I was able to login successfully however the application says I do not have access or access denied?
This typically happens if you have multiple accounts are are logged in an active session with the wrong account for that particular application or you don't have the appropriate permissions to access that resource. First, try to login in to the correct account using a Private/Incognito window. If that works, you should clear your cache so that you can access without Private/Incognito. If problems persist, contact support to verify your account and permissions.

  6. I have a Trane Technologies Active Directory/Citrix account, how should I login?
Azure B2C is a separate authentication system from our companies Citrix login platform however, you may have an account in both, allowing you to login with either. Click the “Forgot your password?” link on the login screen and try to reset your password using your Citrix ID. Don’t add @tranetechnologies.com to ID. If that works, you can login to any Azure B2C protected application this way if your account name matches the ID of your Citrix account. If you don’t have an account in Azure B2C, you can click the bottom portion of the login page and login using your Trane Technologies Citrix account.
